Howard Soul Sessions
Howard hosts a soul music party every first Wednesday of the month and this month’s session happens to fall on April Fools’ Day. The show will be presented by Guitars over Guns and this is not an event that you would want to miss if you are a music lover. The event will take place at The Citadel and it allows you to experience beautiful views of the surrounding neighborhood as you enjoy sounds from South Florida’s emerging talents.
Food Truck Festival
This is a great community event for those looking to spend April Fools’ Day with friends and family. The food truck festival will be held at the Pelican Harbor Marina from 5pm to 10pm. XXIII New Music Miami ISCM Festival 2020
The New Music Miami Festival will feature performances from FIU alumni in celebration of Florida International University Panther Alumni Week. Join the concert for the opportunity to listen to performances by Dang, Herriott, Bonacosa, Mansilla, Lough, and Kojs. The event will include a pre-concert discussion of music works at 7pm followed by a performance from FIU NODUS Ensemble members at 7:30pm. The discussions and festival performances are free to the public.
Art Exhibition: “Painting in the garden” by Gaspar Saldanha
Brazilian painter Gaspar Saldanha will be showcasing his impressionistic painting style at the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens. Saldanha took his Fine Arts training lessons at the Arts Student League New York City and his career has been focused mainly on Design. Gates open at 6pm.
